Who am I?
LaTonya Winfrey is an accomplished educator, school counselor, autism advocate, author, and speaker with more than 20 years of experience in education and student support services. She currently serves as a school counselor with Metro Nashville Public Schools and has presented at local, national, and international conferences on topics related to autism advocacy, school counseling, family engagement, and educational planning. LaTonya is the founder of Happy: Joseph’s Journey, a nonprofit organization dedicated to autism advocacy and family support. She is also the author of Happy: Joseph’s Journey – A Story of Joy, Advocacy, and Unconditional Love and For the Love of IEPs: IEP Meeting Planner. Through her work as an educator, advocate, and parent, LaTonya empowers families and professionals to navigate educational systems with confidence, compassion, and purpose.
